What They’RE
NOT TELLING YOU
Most shrimp sold in the US is imported, often farm-raised overseas. Ours is wild-caught off the Louisiana coast.

Tough on Louisiana shrimpers
Often soaked in phosphates or treated with sulfites. Ours have nothing added.
What We Are
Doing Better
These foreign shrimp are also putting responsible, generational Louisiana shrimpers out of business. Last Island Wild Louisiana Shrimp is here to create a better seafood economy - one that is natural, healthy, sustainable and delicious.

Our shrimp are frozen the day they are caught and not defrosted until the customer decides to. Shrimp freeze incredibly well and don't take on any weird tastes or textures.
Shrimp are a lean source of protein, and ours have nothing added: no preservatives, phosphates, or sulfites.
Keep the bag sealed and thaw it in a bowl or sink of cold water right before cooking, or in the refrigerator the night before.
Likely not before you eat them all. Shrimp can last up to a year in a deep freezer.
Every box is large 16/20-count wild Louisiana shrimp in ½-lb bags of about 12–16 shrimp, enough for 1–2 people. The 5 lb box has 10 bags (about 10–15 servings) and the 8 lb box has 16 bags (about 16–24 servings).
