What They’RE
NOT TELLING YOU

Most shrimp sold in the US is imported, often farm-raised overseas. Ours is wild-caught off the Louisiana coast. Those imports are also putting responsible, generational Louisiana shrimpers out of business.

Often farm-raised, not wild

Shipped in from overseas

Tough on Louisiana shrimpers

Often soaked in phosphates or treated with sulfites. Ours have nothing added.

Shrimp Questions? We’re Here to Help

Is anything added to your shrimp?

No. Nothing added: no preservatives, phosphates (STPP), or sulfites. Just wild Louisiana shrimp, peeled, deveined and frozen.

Are the shrimp peeled and deveined?

Yes, peeled, deveined and tailless, processed in a licensed Louisiana facility.

How is the shrimp shipped?

By ground, in an insulated cooler with dry ice. We ship Monday–Tuesday (Wednesday for some closer areas) and boxes arrive frozen in 3–4 days.

Are your shrimp fresh or frozen?

Our shrimp are frozen the day they are caught and not defrosted until the customer decides to. Shrimp freeze incredibly well and don't take on any weird tastes or textures.

Are shrimp healthy?

Shrimp are a lean source of protein, and ours have nothing added: no preservatives, phosphates, or sulfites.

What’s the best way to thaw the shrimp?

Keep the bag sealed and thaw it in a bowl or sink of cold water right before cooking, or in the refrigerator the night before.

Do frozen shrimp expire?

Likely not before you eat them all. Shrimp can last up to a year in a deep freezer.
